Second picture link

It's crazy to think we have so many pictures. However, since "albums" can only hold 500 pictures, I've created a second album to hold pictures for the balance of the trip. Here is the 2nd link for photos:

Enjoy! (we sure are!)

P.S. Thanks for the comments to the blog posts--the kids eagerly anticipate our reading them aloud and love hearing what you have to say!

Was that the USA swim and dive team at their private training facility in Costa Rica? Great pictures and captions from the tropical rain forest and volcano. How cool were the tucans? How did those cheeseburgers and fries taste? Today is your last day. Enjoy it to the utmost. It's been so much fun reading the individual blogs and viewing the well-captioned pictures. Kudos to all!! Can't wait to see all of you, especially my red head, tomorrow at SHS. Have a wonderful last day and a safe flight back.

This is my last comment for the trip, you'll all be coming home tomorrow, so, I'm sorry, but it's going to be a long comment...

You guys are the FIRST group EVER in the history of Stevenson to do this trip. I can't tell you how proud I am of the way that you have absorbed and participated in this adventure, how you have documented it, what you have been willing to try, and the way you are represnting SHS and yourselves. It really makes me appreciate the school district that we live in (and the high taxes we pay...)

The blog posts have been fantasitic, and the photos show us that this experience was worth in in every way.

I am honestly going to really miss this blog and following your adventures. It's been the highlight of every day since the trip started. Each day, I look forward to seeing the photos of what you are experiencing, and seeing the looks on your faces when you experience new things.

But now, I have to come clean and make a confession - my name is not Thunder... Thunder is our cat, and cat's can't type (at least, Thunder our cat can't type - not that I know about anyway...).

But, our cat Thunder really misses Karl, and has been looking for his hiking boots - I think Thunder really misses those boots at least as much as Karl.

Perhaps we need to keep a blog going after this trip is over? Sort of "The Costa Rica Reunion Tour".

I definately would like to organize a way to get everyone's photos together, and put them onto a DVD for everyone else to have. I'll volunteer time and materials to do that, if anyone is interested.

Please remember to thank your guides and teachers, remember, we want you to make it back (I've heard that's what it takes)...

And, a big THANK YOU from the Fuhlbrugge family (including Thunder the cat) to everyone who made this adventure possible for all of the kids.

Guys, I'm looking forward to your last and final blog this evening, safe travels, and we'll see you all tomorrow.

TTFN...

I wish I had the opportunities that you do at your age.

I know it sounds like things that old adults and grandparents say, but I assure you that all parents want their children to experience and learn things that they were not able to. That is just the way it is with Parents and elders.

You are so fortunate, and it is reassuring that you appreciate everything that you are exposed to on this trip.

Next time, all the grandparents are coming along.

AHHHHH!!!!!
